About AIT Ambulance

The ground team air medicine counts on.

AIT Ambulance is a medical ground transport company built around one hard problem: the miles between the aircraft and the bedside. We move air medical flight crews, their patients, organ transplant teams, and non-emergency medical riders across the Albuquerque area and New Mexico — with the professionalism both ends of the transport expect.

The operation

Our fleet comprises large box Type I and Type III ambulances, specifically chosen to handle the unique space requirements of flight crews and their equipment — and unlike other transportation companies, we offer roundtrip transportation, taking crews back to their aircraft when the mission is done. Behind the rigs is a communication center that answers live around the clock, in-house vehicle maintenance, and crews of EMTs and paramedics who train to a single standard: excellence in patient care — every mission, every mile.
